Vauxhall VXR8 (aka the Pontiac G8)

The imminent Pontiac G8 will be arriving in the U.S. soon. The replacement for the GTO will hopefully have a model that could meet or beat the GTO's performance benchmark in the form of a GXP. Across the pond, our English friends already have the Vauxhall version and Top Gear/5th Gear got their hands on the high performance version with their own top speed test. Hopefully this will be similar to what we might see here in the states. One impressive item is the fact that this beast can stop faster than BMW M5. In the video, the lead footed driver pushes the VXR8 sideways more than straight forward. It seems that this machine may become America's new Drift King. Enjoy the video.
